Being a JW should have no bearing on this case. Disclosure and testimony will conclude if Toyota had a faulty product. It's easy to second guess why someone didn't react a different way, but sometimes people freeze in an emergency situation.

The WTS will guilt some MS's to step up to elder and some Pub's to step up to MS, then eventually elder. Some of these guys will eventually see behind the curtain, head for the exits, and the cycle will be repeated. The WTS is to arrogant to recognize they are the problem and reform.

well for those of you who many not know i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on the 31st jan, however our joy soon turned to concern when it was discovered our son had breathing problems.
this concern later turned to fear as we learned that he had a congenital diaphragmatic hernia (cdh) and that he would need an operation asap.. basically our baby had a hole in his diaphragm and most of his digestive system now resided in his left chest cavity compressing his heart and lungs into the remain space in the right cavity.
this is a very serious condition and much of the information we were given made very bleak reading.
The whole thing is designed to make you into a martyr who has no feelings for yourself or anybody else. If you analyze it, it considers everybody to be expendable. The friendships are shallow, conditional and tenuous. There is nothing behind those smiling faces.
Sadly.....the JW's are organized very much like an ant colony. The purpose is to work hard for the queen "mother" ant and produce more workers. Very efficient, but also very inhumane.

Yes, the JW religion does rob people of their humanity. That trait of the religion also falls under the category of lack of love, which was one of the things that finally made me conclude that God cannot be directing this organization. It probably does have to do with the idea that everyone outside a JW member in good standing will soon be destroyed and that Jehovah will fix everything in the new system. Still, they even have a discernable lack of love and compassion for their own members. Again....it's the wait of Jehovah and until then work hard for the WTS mentality.

As I said, I'm not a Christian, have nothing against military service and would probably kill you if you forced me too, but any "Christians" who get involved in or support the atrocities of war are only deluding themselves.
JWoods......what part of my personal decision listed above did you not understand? What my personal decision or beliefs are (which I clearly stated) and what the teachings of the bible and Christ are......are 2 different things. If you think I'm going to just agree that "yeah Christians can be in the military and no matter what happens, have no judgement repercussions from God", then it ain't going to happen.
A case could possibly be made that a Christian could possibly be in the military, but doubtful that a Christian could at all times avoid duty that would compromise Christian teachings.

FuzzyPaul......I was way too harsh and I apologize. My background with the Baptists should not have been brought up. I'm glad you found something that makes your family happy. I guess the point I was trying to make is......people here have come from many backgrounds other than JW. Leaving JW's doesn't automatically mean they are looking for some other religion to takes it's place. People were giving Christopher some good counsel & advise. It doesn't necessarily have to be bible based or Christian themed. I doubt seriously a therapist would start talking to someone about what the bible says on the matter.
You seem like a good guy and it bothers me now that I lashed out at you. I'm sorry and hope you forgive me.
